Its hard to start to tell you how much I enjoyed myself except to say that without doubt this would have to be the best holiday I think I have ever had. I have travelled extensively throughout Australia as well as overseas and reaching the ripe old age of 61 I feel I can speak from experience.

From the time I set foot on the Murray Princess until the time I disembarked nothing was too much trouble for the crew. I have done my fair share of cruising on the Sun Princess however the Murray Princess is streets ahead. I felt we were one big happy family, all the passengers seemed to get on well with each other I guess I was lucky.

The crew are to be commended , everyone from the kitchen hand through to the captain socialised with the passengers and by doing this it made the experience all that much better. If I had one complaint it was the food "' Too Much"' it was tasty and always served with a smile ,I liked the variety which made the eating experience very pleasurable

The entertainment was excellent and I would sit with my friends I had met and have a few drinks enjoying the music. Things like the trivia night was great as well as the fancy dress night even if you didn't get involved it was funny to see some of the outfits people were wearing. The crew put on a show and it was great fun, everyone got involved this is what I enjoyed about "small ship cruising "'

I went on this cruise with a fair amount of trepidation , I lost my dear wife in November last year she had been battling a terminal illness and I had been caring for her 24/7 ,then in February I lost my mum at the age of 99. I would have to say for the seven days on the Murray River I felt I was in a better place , it took my mind away from what I had been through I am very grateful for that

In closing two members of the crew deserve special mention , Cruise Director Sue Graham and Bar Manager/Cruise Director Andrew Kerr both New Zealanders but I don't hold that against them , they we great fun and a pleasure to be with.

My husband & I had a terrific cruise. We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We met some great people including the staff, had lots of laughs, ate too much food & forgot about the outside world. We were well looked after & thought everything was well organised. Please pass on our appreciation & best wishes to the staff of the Murray Princess. We enjoyed it so much that we are planning our next trip with you in 3 years time.

we have just returned from a fabulous trip on the Princess. The food,boat, crew, trip were wonderful and Brian was treated with great respect and assistance. Nothing was too much trouble and it was more than we could ever imagine. Thank you for all your help ensuring we were on board for the weekend. Brians health is failing and the July date would not have been possible. Again thank you for everything you did to make this trip possible.

Hi to you Mel, and all the crew,

Yes we had a wonderful time on the cruise. It was the most relaxing time that we have had whilst away from home.

On board the Murray Princess our table in the dining room was regarded as the most rowdy, as that was due to the many jokes that were being passed around.

The group on that table (2) clicked together very well and made the trip all the better, we never stopped laughing.

The meals were wonderful, they could not be faulted, congratulations to the Chefs and the kitchen staff. The rest of the staff were equally good and attentive to all our needs.

Fay and I have no complaints what so ever and the accommodation was very satisfactory . We both had a camera each To give us many memories. Fay took 319 photos and I took 297, so now we have lots of memories to last for many years.

My family had one of the best holidays ever on the Murray Princess and we all agree that we will take the 4 night trip same time next year.

The service from Cruise Murray was exceptional. All queries deal with promptly and efficiently. We would definitely book with you again.

We loved the pace of the river, no mobile phones, no TV or radio. Just the sounds of nature.

The crew entertained us each evening, the food was amazing and plentiful.

It was my parents 63 wedding anniversary and to be able to celebrate with their children and grandchildren for 3 days was very special.

Looking forward to our next trip on the Murray Princess!

Yes we both enjoyed our experience cruising the River Murray in February, good food and enjoyable company and entertainment. The crew were very approachable and friendly, mixing with everyone. Good to tie up and explore places along the shore. Great sceenery along the way - very relaxing, with plenty to do also. A good time to experience the cruise with all the water flowing and filling the wetlands.

Dear Mel, sorry for delay in responding. On behalf of all of us I can say we enjoyed the Murray River cruise immensely. From the Captain, Cruise Director down the staff & crew were impeccable to a fault. We had the best time, food all delicious & plenty of, excursions all interesting, shows put on by staff hilarious, we truly relaxed, had nothing to worry about & for a short time we were almost oblivious to outside world. We laughed more on those 7 days than we had in a long time. We also made new friends from all over who we stay in touch with. Yes thanks Mel. The cruise was fantastic. Couldn't fault the service. We had beautiful weather and to see the beautiful Murray River alive again was a memorable experience for me as the last time we visited the Murray mouth, the river was being dredged so that she could reach the sea! All the beautiful birds were back and the greenery was spectacular. A very nostalgic trip for me also as I am from Adelaide and camped every year at Swan Reach with my family, as my father did when he was a little boy. The Murray River Princess was spectacular as well and we met some great people.
So thankyou.. a very memorable, wonderful holiday.

Dear Mel,

Yes, we really enjoyed the cruise. The food was excellent and I really appreciated the trouble the chef went to in accommodating my special diet. We especially enjoyed the ecology trip and talk in the small boat and the indigenous people's talk.

The booking experience was also trouble free. The best bit is that we found you by accident and are very glad we did. It was a very relaxed trip. The smaller number of travellers and the one class of cabins on the boat is a big help in making it more friendly.

Dear Mel,

I can't speak highly enough of the fantastic week we spent on the Murray River Cruise. We were looked after, entertained and fed!! extremely well. Starting from the beds made while we were enjoying a HUGE breakfast, right through the day until we returned to our cabin at night to find the beds turned back, bed lamps turned on, copy of the next day's activities and a chocolate on the pillow! The tours also, were very well done and very interesting. We haven't had so much fun for a long time!
We made good friends from all over Australia, and even overseas. The week went all too quickly, and we hope to do it again sometime in the future.

In response to this email I would like to thank the Murray Princess staff for a wonderful weekend. My sister and I tranvelled with our father who at the time had just been diagnosed with throat and esophagus cancer. The staff were only too happy to assist in making
food that our father could eat. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on our three night cruise. Sadly our father passed away on the 4th April but our memories of our Adelaide holiday are now more special than ever.

Rod and I had an absolutely fabulous time on the Murray Princess. Despite less than perfect weather we enjoyed all the activities both on and off the Murray Princess. The service provided by the young and friendly crew was outstanding, the dining was excellent and we loved meeting fellow passengers from all parts of Oz. I particularly enjoyed the Art sessions run by Tony which were informal and instructive. We would be very tempted to repeat the experience and would thoroughly recommend the trip to our our friends and family.

We had a great time. The meals were first rate and there was plenty to do. I enjoyed going for a walk on shore, the music and entertainment and of course the bar and Captain Hunter.

We will go again.

Yes we enjoyed ourselves on the Murray Princess however we were glad to have chosen a State room, the extra space/comfort was worth the expense. The service we found to be without fault and the staff were courteous and pleasant.
We did enjoy ourselves and would certainly visit the Murray again.

Good Afternoon

During the Australia Day Weekend of 2009, I purchased a 7 day cruise aboard
the Murray Princess.
This was to be my husband's 60th birthday present, and it was an EXCELLENT
one! What a delightful time we both had aboard this vessel. We could not be
more pleased with every aspect of the cruise.

I wish to pass my thanks onto Rose-Anne Fletcher who handled the reservation
details in the first inst. Vanessa Tickle who organised the birthday cake as
a surprise for my husband, Phil! It was wonderful!

To Capt. Peter Hunter and all the crew, in particular Katy who handled the
mooring of the vessel. She is a treasure, and it was not just myself and
Phil who made the comment 'she made us feel safe using the gangplank'! also
Ryan who served our table well throughout the cruise with a professional
approach but with humour as well, and the 'chocolate fairy' who left the
little treats upon our pillows each evening, as well as the Easter Eggs.
The meals were a delight, thank you to Ian the Chef and all his kitchen
staff!

And to all and each of the crew, and we had a changeover during our 7 days,
so there were a lot of them, we cannot thank you enough for making this trip
a special one for me and in particular, for my husband Phil.

The Murray Princess is well manned and well managed. I can only hope to enjoy all of this again sometime.
